A silicone-coated fire blanket in fiberglass fabric smothers fire faster than a regular fire blanket and significantly reduces the risk of re-ignition and is a good complement to a fire extinguisher, in order to quickly put out smaller fires in, for example, clothing or cookware. Place the fire blanket visibly where there is a risk of fire, for example in the kitchen, the workshop or next to the fireplace.
