APPLICATION - bimetallic thermometers are used in various fields, including the food, chemical, medical and household industries, where they are used to measure the temperature in the oven, on radiators, etc.
SPRING - the thermometer consists of two strips of metal, connected to each other and rolled up in the shape of a spring. When the thermometer is heated, the metal strips expand to varying degrees, causing the spring to bend. This bend is proportional to the increase in temperature, which allows the temperature to be measured where the thermometer is placed.
