• Easy to clean by hand

• Retains its structure with regular oil treatment

To ensure that your slate tiles stay in top condition, it is important to clean them by hand and regularly grease them with cooking oil. This preserves their natural texture and prevents them from becoming dry or brittle. It is especially important to oil the tiles before first use to protect the surface and extend their life.

As slate is a natural product, you should be aware that each tile is unique. The layered stone cannot be cut perfectly straight, which means that the edges may vary slightly. Small deviations in thickness, length and width are also possible, which contributes to the authentic and natural look of the tiles.
