X18 is a compact universal ax that has been balanced and adapted to the body to smoothly can be used with one hand. The innovative ultra-sharp steel head has been designed to split wood more efficiently.
The steel has also been double-hardened so that the precision ground edge stays sharp longer. The adapted blade angle provides simple and clean cuts even in fresh, resinous wood. A friction-reducing coating makes the head slide more easily through the wood, while protecting against rust. The ax head is overmolded to prevent it from coming off the shaft.
X-series™ axes are almost unbreakable, thanks to the extremely strong yet lightweight FiberComp™ shafts that absorb shock and provides superior impact protection.
The shaft is ergonomically designed to keep the wrist in a neutral position and has SoftGrip™ with strategic structure for greater comfort and better control.
